Quick start

Install the Bridge, pair with a QR code, and start talking. A few minutes.

The fastest way to start using BuddyOS. You'll need a PC (Mac or Windows) and an iPhone.

1. Install the Bridge

Install the Bridge (a lightweight background app) on your Mac or Windows PC. Grab the installer for your OS from the download page and open it.

Mac is Apple-notarized and opens as-is. On Windows, if SmartScreen appears, choose “More info” → “Run anyway.”

2. Set up an agent

Install the CLI for the agent you want to use (Claude Code, Codex, etc.) on your PC and sign in. See Agent setup for details.

3. Pair your iPhone

  1. Get the BuddyOS iPhone app (currently invite-only beta via TestFlight).
  2. Scan the QR code shown by the Bridge on your PC with the iPhone app.
  3. Once paired, your running agents appear in the app.

4. Start talking

Now just instruct your agent via chat or voice. Completions and errors arrive as push notifications. As long as Tailscale is connected, it works on the go too.
