Install the Bridge
Put the background app on Mac / Windows to host your agents.

The Bridge is a background app that launches and manages agents on your PC and relays them to the iPhone app. It runs on Mac and Windows.

macOS
- Download the Mac build (.dmg) from the download page.
- Open the .dmg and drag BuddyOS into your Applications folder.
- Launch BuddyOS (it's Apple-notarized, so it opens as-is).
Windows
- Download the Windows build (.exe) from the download page.
- Run the .exe. If SmartScreen warns you, choose “More info” → “Run anyway.”
- BuddyOS launches once installation finishes.
Code signing for the Windows build is planned. It's currently unsigned, so SmartScreen may warn you.
Updates
The Bridge auto-updates. When a new version is found, an update button appears at the top right of the window. Click it, or it swaps in automatically the next time you quit.
If the update button doesn't respond in an older version, fully quit BuddyOS and reopen it. If it still doesn't update, install the latest installer over your current copy.
