Privacy Policy

BuddyOS connects your iPhone directly to your own Mac (the Bridge) inside your own Tailscale network.

Your interactions with the AI (prompts, responses, code and other conversation content) are exchanged directly between your devices and are not sent to or stored on our servers.

Analytics: anonymous usage statistics such as screen views and feature usage (via PostHog). This does not include conversation content, and you can turn it off in settings.

Push notification token: a device token used to deliver notifications such as response completion.

Waitlist information: your email address and similar details, if you sign up.

To provide, maintain and improve the Service, investigate issues, deliver notifications, and contact you about the beta program.

We use PostHog for analytics, Tailscale for connectivity, and the Apple Push Notification service for notifications. Their handling of data is governed by their own policies.

Your use of any AI agent you configure (e.g., Claude) is subject to that provider’s terms and pricing and is your responsibility.

The Service is currently free during beta. In the future we may introduce paid plans, in-app purchases, or subscriptions.

If we do, payment processors such as Apple (App Store) will handle information as needed for billing. We do not directly store payment details such as credit card numbers.
